Wang Yuke, a Sino-Thai mixed heritage jewelry designer and gemologist, graduated from the Jewelry College of China University of Geosciences with a major in Jewelry Design and Craftsmanship. After graduation, she worked at the Chinese high-end jewelry brand ChuCui, focusing on luxury jewelry design, gemstone identification, and craftsmanship development. As a new generation designer in China’s jewelry design field, she has been invited to participate in industry exhibitions such as the Beijing International Jewelry Exhibition GAC Jewelry Designer Joint Exhibition and the China International Consumer Goods Expo. Her original jewelry works have been featured in authoritative jewelry media multiple times. Her designs blend international perspectives with Eastern aesthetics, dedicated to exploring innovative expressions of traditional culture and contemporary jewelry art.

Raised under the influence of her grandfather, an architectural designer, and her mother, a jewelry appraisal expert, she developed a strong interest in design and gemstones from a young age. Her pursuit of design stems from her admiration for her grandfather and her longing for beauty. Five years of architectural studies in university have made her design more rational, with a focus on rules and thoughtful expression from conceptualization to proportion and language. Through understanding structure and space, she explores the perfect integration of function and aesthetics, providing more possibilities for multifunctional jewelry.

In 2016, she returned to her hometown Hong Kong to establish her own jewelry design studio, Brilliant. The design team members are all graduates of top jewelry design institutions. Since its founding, the studio has provided personalized jewelry matching and customization services for many jewelry enthusiasts.

My high standards for quality stem from my mother's guidance. To select the finest gemstones and draw from broader design ideas, I often attend cutting-edge academic seminars both domestically and internationally to learn about the latest gemstone enhancement techniques; visit mines to observe gemstone conditions firsthand; participate in association activities and exhibitions to expand my design perspectives and seek more collaborative opportunities.

I hope to use jewelry to spread the aesthetic principles I have learned and understood, share jewelry knowledge, and convey the beauty and heartfelt emotions embedded by designers through personalized custom creations. I want more people to discover and experience the beauty and meaning of jewelry, striving for a more beautiful and refined life.
